​​​​​​​Haifa Arabo: Resistance path must be completed to protect gains made

The Martyrs’ Families Council in Amuda district of Qamishlo canton revealed the record of 3 martyrs who were martyred in the legitimate defense zones (Media), following the attacks of the Turkish occupation on the tent that was installed in front of the Youth Center in the district.

The martyrs are Bharin Rojava; the real name is Besnah Ali, Sipan Kabar; the real name is Sipan Ahmed, and Tolhildan Roj; the real name is Alji Sylvie.

The picture of the member of the Kurdistan Workers Party’s (PKK) Central Committee Qassem Anakin who was martyred on May 27 following an air strike by Turkish occupation warplanes on the legitimate defense zones, in addition to the pictures of the martyrs Bharin Rojava, Sipan Kabar and Tolhildan Roj and the pictures of the leader Abdullah Ocalan were hung in the martyr’s tent.

Representatives of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, the Kongra Star, Civil Society institutions, and the military forces participated in the ceremony of the martyrs’ record announcement.

In the ceremony, the member of the Kongra Star Coordination Haifa Arabo delivered a speech and consoled the families of the martyrs. She said: “The martyrdom of every struggler is evidence of the renewal of resistance and the continuation of the peoples’ struggle.” She made clear the in spite of its policies, attacks and media and military campaigns, the Turkish occupation could not undermine the Kurdish people’s will, as the Kurdish people have been witnessing a stage closer to victory.”

Haifa Arabo noted that the Kurdish people possesses a strong will, their history is full of struggle and they realize their reality well. She stressed the need to complete the path of resistance and raise the pace of struggle to protect the gains made thanks to the blood of the martyrs.

At the end of the ceremony, the Martyrs’ Families Council handed over the documents of the martyrs to their families.
