​​​​​​​Turkish occupation elements set fire in agriculture lands

The Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries continue to set fire to the fields of the people of the areas near the occupied areas, especially near their military base located in the village of Amiriya near the international road M4 in the Tal Tamr district, as well as targeting civilians and fire brigade that try to extinguish the fire.

In this context, citizen Jasim al-Hamad of al-Arbaeen village that the Turkish army occupied, says, "The elements of the Turkish occupation army set fire to the agricultural lands near the military base in which they are located, in the village of Amiriya, to fire the villages adjacent to it."

Al-Hamad asserted that the occupation army and its mercenaries deliberately set fire to farmers' lands in the villages adjacent to the international road. He said, "In case the fires are extinguished, the mercenaries will re-set fire in order to expand its range."

Al-Hamad pointed out that they cannot put out the fire, because "the occupation army and its mercenaries target us directly and also fire brigade."

For his part, Mahmoud Daar, the administrator in the fire brigade in Tal Tamr district, indicated that the occupation army and its mercenaries are setting fire to agricultural crops in the villages of Zarkan and Tal Tamr districts.

He explained that the fire brigade cannot intervene to extinguish the fire, because of their exposure to direct targeting by the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries.

Daar stressed that the fires devoured hundreds of hectares of agricultural land in the region, in addition to burning the homes of civilians in the villages of "Umm Shaefa, Tel Manakh" in the southern countryside of the Zarkan district on the road to Tamr and civilians' homes in the villages of "al Qasimiya and Rayhaniyah" in the northwestern countryside of the Tal district Tamr, and the villages of “al-Amiriya, Laylan, al-Arba’een, and Tawila” in the southwestern countryside of the Tal Tamer district near the international road.
