People NE, Syria, visit martyrs' shrines

Dozens of mosques in the regions of north and east Syria began with the setting of the sunrise for the Eid al-Fitr prayers, while crowds of worshipers flocked to the mosques to perform the Eid prayer. During the sermon of the Eid, the imams of mosques stressed the necessity of solidarity and cohesion to protect the region, and to preserve the gains made thanks to the sacrifices of the martyrs, calling for security, safety and stability to prevail in all parts of Syria, and to address the attacks of the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries who are trying to occupy more of the Syrian lands.

Besides, the people of northern and eastern Syria have flocked from the early morning hours of al-Fitr prayer to martyrs' shrines in all regions of north and east Syria, and visitors were greeted by fighters and leaders of the Syrian Democratic Forces, Martyrs families' councils.

In the shrines, the people exchanged congratulations on occasion of Eid- al-Fiter laid wreaths on martyrs' shrines, read Surat al-Fatihah, and distributed sweets to each other.
