Mercenaries fight over stolen sheep in Afrin

Clashes erupted between mercenaries of Firqat Hamzat of the Turkish occupation army in Afrin, having disputed over sharing sheep stolen from a citizen.

A source from Afrin canton told our agency that Firqat Al-Hamzat, led by Saif Abu Bakr of the Turkish occupation army, had stolen 400 sheep belonging to citizen (A,M) from the district.

The source confirmed that the stolen sheep was sent in part to the village of Kazay in the district of Janders, and a section to the village of choir in the district of Mabata.

In a dispute over the sharing of stolen sheep herd, clashes with light arms erupted between the mercenaries of Firqat Al-Hamzat.

The source also said that livestock herders in Afrin pay mercenary groups money to protect their livestock.
