The crisis cell formed to confront the "Coronavirus" made it clear that the Health Authority and its cadres were alert, and fully prepared to face any emergency.

The cell pointed out that it will set medical points in the main places in the regions of northern and eastern Syria, and seven health centers were also equipped in various cities of northern and eastern Syria.

For its part, the Autonomous Administration of Northern and Eastern Syria had issued earlier a number of decisions that would protect citizens and closed all border crossings.

In Hasaka canton, in the framework of preventing the spread of the Coronavirus in northern and eastern Syria, the Health Committee, in coordination with the Municipalities and Environment Committee in the city of Hasaka, today launched a sterilization campaign for public and private institutions and bakeries, in addition to public facilities.

The campaign started from Al-Hasakah Provincial Council center in Tal Hajar neighborhood, and within the next 24 hours, all institutions will be sterilized, as these institutions will be out of business for three days.

Medical Affairs Officer in the Health Directorate in the city of Hasaka, Ramanda Issa, told Hawar News: "Today we in the Health Committee have started a sterilization campaign in all administration’s0 institutions, and this campaign aims to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus in northern and eastern Syria."

She thanked all the workers in the municipalities for their initiative in this campaign, and demanded the people to take the necessary measures, adhere to the instructions, and stay away from the gatherings.

In Kobani, sterilization teams spread in the institutions, as during the day Kobani canton centers will be sterilized in addition to the administrative centers in all the towns surrounding the city such as Sheeran, Sreen, Jalabiyya and Al Qenaya within two days before the end of the delay period decided by the Autonomous Administration.

This step is one of the precautionary steps taken by the administration in northern and eastern Syria in the framework of the strict measures and laws imposed to prevent gatherings and celebrations.

The source pointed that the village is witnessing a security alert by the Turkish occupation army and its police.
