​​​​​​​Call for Italy government to end its military, trade agreements with Turkey

According to al-Furat news agency, the Italian municipality of Calenzano in the Italian city of Frenzia held a conference on the 9th of February this year to support Rojava, NE, Syria.

During the conference, Mayor Ricardo Priestini delivered a speech in which he condemned the attacks launched by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries on NE, Syria, and said: "We condemn the attacks launched by the Turkish occupation against the people in Rojava."

In his speech, Priestini indicated that they will continue to support the people of Rojava and stressed the need for the attacks by the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries to stop in NE, Syria, and added: "We call on the Turkish state to put an end to its unlawful attacks on Rojava."

For his part, the official of the ARCI union Manfredi Saoru said during a speech at the conference: "The attacks against the Rojava people mean a war against the socialists."

In his speech, Sauro praised the modal of the Autonomous Administration of North and East of Syria, and said that the model of the Democratic Confederation and the democratic system in northern and eastern Syria is also a "liberation model" for the European society. And he added, "We must defend this regime and not leave it to the dictator Erdogan and his jihadist gangs."

Sauro also called on the Italian government to end its military and trade agreements with the Turkish state.

During the conference, Erol Idemir gave a speech on behalf of the Kurdish committee, in which he said: "The countries participating in this war that is against morals must know that the people of NE, Syria will continue their struggle based on the Democratic Confederation until the end."

The Italian Red Crescent President, Aligan Yildiz, said during a speech at the conference that the Turkish state bombed hospitals, schools and infrastructure for the regions of NE, Syria, and said: "More than 400,000 people were forced to leave their homes."

Yildiz also condemned the policies of the Western authorities, which did not specify its position to limit the occupation and the brutality practiced by the Turkish state in the regions of northeastern Syria, and called for increased support for the region.

The conference organizers announced that they will organize a march at 14:00 on the occasion of the twenty-first anniversary of the international conspiracy against the leader Abdullah Ocalan in the square of La Republica in Rome.
