Residents began arriving after SDF's Commander-in-Chief ,Mazloum Abdi, expressed readiness to receive Idlib's people.

The Democratic Northern Brigade and the Rebel Army, which are under the SDF's umbrella, receive displaced people from Idlib.

The "safe" areas of SDF are the destination

Mohammed Hamza Zarra's family, from Jabal al-Zawiya, one of the families who fled Idlib and reached the Manbij area where the civil administration and the SDF are receiving displaced people.

Mohammed Hamza, a 29-year-old father of five, said the Syrian regime was bombing their area day and night, forcing them to flee after the situation became difficult and the area lacked livelihoods.

The displaced confirmed that they had gone to the SDF's safe and secure areas.

More than 220 families were displaced from Idlib to  the Autonomous Administration areas went to Manbij, some of whom were sent to a camp in Al-Tabeqa area.

Speaking about the situation in Idlib, Mohammed Hamza Zarra said :"the mercenaries ' only concern is looting and robbing without considering the situation of the people who are living the worst days of their lives under the heavy bombardment. The shelling is indescribable, especially nowadays, as it is escalating increasingly under the policy of the scorched earth".

"Turkey-backed mercenaries are gradually handing over the areas to the Syrian regime. They are merely looting and robbing the property of the people without defending the area and its people," he said.

Escape the war for money!

Mohammed recounts his journey from Idlib to  the Autonomous Administration  areas, saying: "We went out at night and fear and panic dominated us of bombing of the military warplanes of the regime and the merciless mercenaries  at checkpoints. They took nearly $200 for our crossing."

He described the situation in Idlib as very bad and tragic, and felt that Turkey was the reason; "because it sold the region in this harsh season to displace thousands of people from their homes and land and slaughter innocent people. The fate of the people is unknown."

"massacres are being carried out. The regime bombed a house near us and an entire family fell under the rubble and they still are," he said.

Turkey "sold" the people of the region and closed its borders!

"The Turkish state sold Idlib people. When they went to their borders, they closed it. Ultimately , people are paying a heavy price, as the result of Erdogan's fascist policies." Mohammad Hamza Zarra, a displaced man from Idlib said.

He explained that Turkey is targeting civilians on its borders, preventing them from crossing into Turkish territory, adding, "I have tried more than once to cross into Turkish territory, but in vain. Border guards killed civilians in front of my eyes, so I retreated out of fear."

At the end of his speech, Mohammed Hamza Sa'ra thanked the SDF and the rebel army for facilitating their transit to the safety, where the areas of northeastern Syria are safe and stable.
