Kurds warn: We will rise against the absent from Kurdish unity efforts

The Kurdish division in Syria has become an obstacle before the representation of the Kurds in any political paths that guarantee the rights of this main component in Syria, and negatively affected the region people’s project in resolving the Syrian crisis, and provided an opportunity for the regional and international countries to exploit some Kurdish parties at the expense of the Kurdish people for their colonial interests.

The demands of the Kurdish people in Syria have never stopped to unify the Kurdish ranks, demanding the preference of the Kurdish interest over the partisan and personal interest, and staying away from the regional and international parties and states known for the history of their enmities with the Kurdish people in an effort by the people to reach solutions for the Kurdish Cause in the country, preserving their rights for them.

The Democratic Society Movement and the Kurdistan National Congress Committee - Rojava has never hesitated to meet the calls of the Kurdish street through several initiatives, in which it has repeatedly called on the Kurdish parties to the necessity of holding Kurdish meetings and conferences to reach a unified Kurdish political speech about the region, but they have not reached the desired goals due to the intransigence of the Kurdish National Council in its refusing position to engage in the initiatives that were launched.

The political initiatives were not the only ones launched, but were followed by many other popular initiatives by intellectuals in the region in an effort to ease the tension among the Kurdish parties followed recently by the initiative of the commander of the Syrian Democratic Forces Mazloum Abdi in which he called on the Kurdish parties and political blocs to close ranks, and come up with a unified Kurdish speech to preserve the Kurdish gains achieved on the ground.

In a new poll via a photo report by Hawar agency in Dêrik district, located to the far east of Qamishlo canton, and about the motives behind the absence of Kurdish parties about the Kurdish unity and their impact on the region and the Kurdish gains achieved, and the position of the Kurdish street in case that some parties failed to meet the initiatives of the Kurdish unity, the people the district directed messages to the Kurdish political parties.

The people of Dêrik district said: "The stage is sensitive, and the opportunity is favorable to sit at one table of dialogue to move away from partisan interests and come out with a Kurdish political position separate from the regional parties and states which are greedy in the Kurdish regions. We have demanded from the beginning the unity of the Kurdish rank, and everyone must meet this requirement."

The people of Dêrik district added in Hawar agency’s report: "In the event that the Kurdish political parties continue to be intransigent, not to abandon chairs and partisan and personal interests, and continue to invoke false pretenses to be absent from the Kurdish national unity, we will go out to the street and rise up against the parties absent from our demands for Kurdish unity, and they must be aware that the people are whoever that determine their representatives, not the parties."

The people of Dêrik called on the general Kurdish people to give up partisanship and think about the need to expose the parties that are absent from the Kurdish unity, go out to the streets and squares and demand and hold those parties accountable because they affect the Kurdish Cause, delay its solution, and help inflaming the situation in the Kurdish street.
