After major escalation followed by communications... regime crossed M4

The Syrian Observatory stated that fighting is continuing at a violent pace on the axes of Aleppo southern countryside and Idlib eastern countryside between the mercenary gangs of Turkey on the one hand and the regime forces on the other hand.

The regime forces managed to advance again in Saraqeb axis east of Idlib, and impose control over al-Neirab village at Aleppo _ Lattakia international highway. Thus, the regime forces had reached the M4 Highway and were able to overtake it and reach al-Neirab village to become about 8 km away from Idlib city.

Today, the regime forces targeted the rural areas of Aleppo and Idlib with more than 450 air strikes.

Interfax news agency quoted from the Russian Foreign Ministry that on Monday, the foreign ministers of Russia and Turkey agreed on the need to respect the agreement about  Idlib region.

The weeks-long bombing in Idlib city northern Syria aiming at controlling the international roads has sparked tension between Russia and Turkey.

The Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Monday that the developments in Idlib governorate northwestern Syria had become out of control.

Erdogan mentioned earlier that his country would respond to the attack that led to killing a number of his soldiers, and announced that Turkey bombed dozens of targets belonging to the Syrian regime with aircrafts and artillery, except that the Russian reconciliation center in Syria lied to Erdogan, and said that the Turkish aircrafts did not penetrate the Syrian territory.
