The Russian Center for Reconciliation in Syria said in a statement this morning, "The units of the Turkish forces made movements inside the Idlib area to reduce the escalation on the night of 2 to 3 February without notifying the Russian side, and came under fire from the Syrian government forces that targeted the terrorists in the area west The town of Saraqib. "

The statement added that, according to available information, "a number of Turkish soldiers were wounded, adding that the Russian forces and the Turkish leadership are in continuous communication through the channels of preventing the clashes, and measures were taken to transfer the injured to Turkish territory.

The statement pointed out that "the airspace over the Idlib area to reduce the escalation is constantly monitored by the Russian space air force, and that the Turkish warplanes did not violate the Syrian border, nor were strikes recorded against the positions of the Syrian forces."
