Hemeimim declares responding to drone attack, calls on mercenaries for settlement

Head of the Russian Center for reconciliation in Syria, Yuri Burenkov, announced that the defenses of Hemeimim base were able to launched monitor drones last night, from the de-escalation area in Idlib, towards Hmeimim.

He added that devices of the electronic warfare at the base, were able to intercept all the aircrafts, and disable them after controlling the device of the systems control. This did not cause any injuries or material damage, while the Russian air base continues to function normally.

"The center called on "the leaders of the armed factions to abandon provocations and seek a peaceful settlement in the areas under their control".

The so-called de-escalation areas are witnessing fierce battles and intensive shelling, at a time, regime forces are attacking Idlib countryside, and Turkish affiliated mercenary groups are attacking Aleppo countryside.

These developments comes amid signs of a Russian-Turkish conflict in Syria, asTurkey is bringing military convoys to Idlib countryside and Aleppo to prevent regime forces from coming to the international roads and Saraqib.
