Fahad Daqouri: History will not show mercy to those who seek to thwart the Kurdish discourse

After the Turkish occupation launched attacks on the northern and eastern regions of Syria, and occupied areas thereof, several initiatives were launched by the Kurdish parties in order to have the Kurdish parties sit at one table, resolve partisan disputes, and seek to solve the Kurdish issue.

In this context, Hawar News Agency correspondents met with a member of the Kurdish Tribes Council in Jazira region, Fahd Muhammad Daqouri, on national unity.

Fahd Muhammad Daqouri said at the outset of his speech: “The Kurdish Tribes Council was established in 2013 in order to build a national unity among the Kurdish people, the convergence of opinions and ideas, and to communicate with the Arab, Syriac, Armenian, and regional peoples.”

Fahad indicated that the Kurdish Tribes Council launched several initiatives between 2017-2018 in order to unify the Kurdish discourse, sit at one table, and resolve the worsening disputes and disputes between the Kurdish parties, adding that they have contacted with the Kurdish parties, but the initiatives did not succeed for several reasons, the most important of which is some parties prefer partisan interests. "

Fahd explained that after the Turkish occupation of Afrin another initiative was launched, and he said: “Where the occupation shook the conscience of every Kurdish person, a piece of the heart of the lands was occupied in Rojava, we have contacted with the Democratic Society Movement, the National Alliance Party, and the Kurdish Progressive Democratic Party in Syria, and the Kurdish National Council, in order to reach a dialogue, resolve disputes, and reach a unified political solution that serves Kurdish interests, away from partisan interests, and the initiative did not succeed either due to the narrow partisan differences represented by the aspirations of political parties for their partisan interests only.”

He noted that the Turkish occupation aims to occupy all the lands of Rojava, and not only threaten the Kurdish people in Rojava, but in all parts of Kurdistan, and we do not exclude that tomorrow they will occupy Qamishlo and Derek and Hewler as well, occupying their lands, and taking them out of their homes. "

Daqouri welcomed the initiative launched by the Commander-in-Chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces, Mazloum Abdi, describing it as a "blessed initiative, and a source of hope for achieving the aspirations of all the Kurdish people." He carries the national sense inside, and asks himself if he is a Kurd, and all the people of the world ask us what are you waiting for in order to unify the Kurdish class? Why don't you agree?

Fahd emphasized that whoever escapes from the Kurdish national unity and is running after party interests, the Kurdish people and history will not spare, indicating that the eyes of the Kurdish people are looking for national unity, and if any error occurred by the parties, the position of the people from them will be clear and explicit calling them to sit on one table.

 He also appealed to the oppressed Abdi to continue his meetings with the Kurdish parties in order to continue the initiative he launched to unify the Kurdish class.

Fahd Muhammad Duquri, member of the Kurdish Tribes Council in Jazira region, concluded: With the alliance of the Kurdish parties, the pursuit of the Kurdish issue, and the unification of the Kurdish speech, the Kurdish people will obtain their rights like any other people, and it will not be a victim of all the conspiracies and policies that are being tried against it, even if it fails this initiative will be the fate of the Kurdish people to perish, and the blood of thousands of martyrs will be in vain. "
