Qamishl – Shinda Akram- Ahmed Sameer

At the beginning of the Syrian crisis in March 2011, tens of meetings and summits were held, sponsored by several countries involved in the Syrian crisis, but did not lead to results for the benefit of the Syrians, but served the interests of the  states that promoted themselves as  the protectors of the Syrian people. Since its establishing in early 2014, the Autonomous administration has insisted on the need to launch a serious dialogue between  the Syrians, which will lead to a solution to the crisis that has ravaged the country, killed thousands and displaced millions more.

Hussein Azzam,   the Joint chairman of the Legislative Council of the  Democratic Autonomous Administration in al-Jazeera, said: " Syrian-Syrian Dialogue Project was launched earlier  by the Syrian-Syrian Dialogue Council in November 2018, where many of  the political figures, researchers met , to discuss the crisis future, and ways of solving it along with several topics and conferences in this regard, at the level of north eastern Syria, attended by delegations and international political figures, and

"There is no salvation for Syria but through peaceful and democratic dialogue," he said.

Azzam thinks that dialogue "is the best way to find a solution to the escalating Syrian crisis in the country for more than seven years."

Azzam stressed that they are "always with the development and these dialogues continuation," adding: "There is no salvation in Syria but through peaceful and democratic dialogue, away from all the  international conferences and external agendas."

Although it has liberated about 30 percent of Syria's total area and presence of more than 5 million people from different religious and ethnic components, North  and East of Syria's Autonomous administration and the administrative structures that preceded it have been excluded from all the conferences and meetings  that were said to be looking for a solution to the Syrian  crisis.

'No solution can be found through exclusion'

"There are those who are trying to exclude us from  the international conferences and the constitutional committee that we are not represented in," Azzam said, stressing: "These dialogues and meetings held outside the country will not serve the solution efforts , and will be under the influence of the  international agendas,  management of the external parties, to serve their interests."

Azzam noted that any solution must include all  the components in Syria, saying: "We cannot find a solution through exclusion, we must be partners in the solution."

The Turkish occupation for areas in Syria is a real obstacle for finding a solution to the crisis in Syria.

'Turkish occupation is an obstacle for the solution'

On October 9th, Turkey launched an offensive on north eastern Syria, and it  is still going on the area.

Azzam described the Turkish occupation and its attacks as "an obstacle to a solution".

'Damascus government only  wants to have dialogue with the Kurds... We will not accept'

Relating to the efforts done by the Autonomous Administration  for finding an agreement form with the Syrian regime . Azzam said :

" The Government of Damascus only wants dialogue with Kurds, in separation  of  Arabs and Syria, and we believe that  the Autonomous Administration represents all the peoples of the region, and the solution must be comprehensive,  for the benefit of  everyone, not one party," Azzam said. We will not accept any other solution."

Concerning  the latest developments  with the Syrian regime contacts, the joint chairman of the Legislative Council in Al-Jazeera Canton "There are consensus and visions between us, but we have not   reached the level of serious and constructive dialogue yet," he said.
