AA met Deir ez-Zor countryside population to discuss ways of improving service situation

The Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria and in coordination with Hajin Town Council held a meeting with the villages and districts’  residents in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor in Hajin town, and dozens of the local residents attended the meeting.

After holding a minute of silence,  Abdul Hamid Al Mahbash, the co-chairman of the Executive Council in the Autonomous Administration, spoke about the importance of reconstruction and development in the region,  and providing the necessary services for the people. Al-Mahbash said, “The reconstruction process is more difficult than the construction one, and the Autonomous Administration knows this.” He added, “All our institutions are open despite the weakness of the capabilities , we are at war, and the war is a matter of losing or winning. We have won the war and our people.”

 Al-Mahbash addressed the difficult conditions of living that people had experienced under the occupation of ISIS mercenaries, and about the efforts of  the rebuilding,  he said: “We have shortcomings. We will address them with each other. I am sure that if we meet a year from now in this place, you will have different opinions from today’s.” 

 Al-Mahbash spoke about the efforts of the Turkish occupation state to occupy the region and achieve its colonial dreams. He called on the people to join and repel the occupation, and called on everyone to contribute in the process of reconstruction and development for providing all the services for the people.

At the end of the meeting, Al Mahbash answered the people's questions  and enquiries about the overall political developments and service issues.
