Director of Iraqi Military Intelligence Major General Saad al-Alaq told CNN America prominent ISIS figures known as "Amir" are now in Turkish camps and have access to large sums of money and the formation of new cells in Turkey.

He explained that a group of ISIS fled from al-Baghouz in eastern Syria earlier this year, they are currently in the southeastern province of Gaziantep, where they have secretly crossed into these areas of the Syrian-Turkish border with the help of smugglers by paying large sums of money and secretly entering Turkish territories.

He stressed that "the elements now in Turkey play a key role in the recruitment of fighters and terrorists."

He added that the files of nine terrorist leaders, including top financiers who have huge funds to fund operations worldwide, have been handed over.

The recent correspondence issued by the mercenaries indicate that there are plans to escape from prisons in Iraq and Syria.

Al-Alaq called for huge international efforts to deal with this issue because these criminals are able to escape from these camps and return to their countries and thus will pose a great danger in countries such as Europe, Asia and North West Africa.
