Infiltration attempt by mercenaries northeast of Manbij foiled

Manbij Military Council issued a statement in which it announced that they had thwarted the infiltration of mercenaries of the Turkish occupation army to one of their points in the village of al-Jat northeast of Manbij city.

The council's statement included,

"After several foiled infiltration attempts by the mercenaries of the so-called Euphrates Shield on al-Sajur line north of Manbij, the mercenaries returned on Sunday evening with a new attempt to sneak to our fighters' points in the village of al-Jat, but our forces were vigilant and confronted that group. Moreover, strong clashes broke out between our forces and the mercenaries which resulted in killing one of the mercenaries and fleeing the rest.

After thwarting this attempt, the mercenaries targeted the village of Arab Hassen, northwest of the populated city of Manbij with mortars, and that resulted in losing a 25 years old young man to his life after wounding seriously and he was taken to the city's hospitals. The young man's name was Hussein Ali al-Fasih.

He was a young man who later became a victim of Turkish-backed Euphrates Shield mercenaries.

It is noteworthy that the violations and crimes of mercenaries have increased in recent times on the front lines, which mostly target civilians and caused a number of victims in the villages near the fronts."
