Al-Tabqa people: We will be shields against Turkish occupation

"Today, as revolutionary youth and as a civil administration, we go to Tal Abyad area to protest and to be human shields against Turkish threats to northern and eastern Syria, and to prove to the whole world that we are a capable people," said Talha Ahmed, co-chairman of the Youth Council of al-Tabqa to protect the Syrian territories, which were watered with the blood of the martyrs. "

Zahra Arden, a Turkmen deputy co-chair of the Executive Council, said: "We as women will have a role in confronting the Turkish occupation, and we will defend our land, beliefs and sanctities with all our determination."

Meanwhile, a member of the Public Relations Committee in the civil administration in al-Tabqa Jamal Nehiter, that the Turkish threats "will not discourage the establishment of the project of the democratic nation," stressing that they will fight with the SDF in one trench.

Ahmed al-Hamid, a member of the tribal reconciliation council, said the US withdrawal from Syria was not surprising.

For his part, the co-chair of the Civil Council of al-Tabqa Alloush Khider appealed to the international community to stand in the face of Turkish threats to areas of northern and eastern Syria.
