Al-Hasakah clans announce general alarm to confront Turkish occupation

The notables and clans' notables of the Kurdish, Arab, Syriac-Assyrian and Yezidi tribes in al-Hasakah canton issued a statement to the public at the Public Relations Center of the Syrian Democratic Forces in the city of al-Hasakah, to stand against Turkish threats to occupy the territory of northern and eastern Syria.

The statement was attended by dozens of notables and clans' sheikhs, the statement was read by the head of the Jabour tribe council Fawaz al-Zoba'a, and stated:

"We, notables' clans in the city of al - Hasakah, Arabs, Kurds, Syriac, Assyrians and Yazidis, stand against Turkish threats to invade and occupy our Syrian territories in the north and east of the country under the pretext of establishing a buffer zone.

We confirm that Erdogan's criminal and expansionist ambitions have begun since the introduction of FSA, Jabhit al-Nusra, and Daesh gangs into our territory and its occupation of large parts of Syrian territory, liberated by the sacrifices of our children in the SDF.

We are al-Hasakh clans' notables call upon all institutions of the international community and the forces supporting peace to stop this brutal aggression on our territory, and we affirm our support to our children in the Syrian Democratic Forces to defend our land and our offer, our honor."
