North Syria's people protest due to exclusion from drafting Syrian constitution

Thousands of people from the north and east of Syria gathered in front of an International Coalition base in the village of Kharab Ashk, south of Kobani city, in protest against the exclusion of representatives of the Autonomous Administration AA and the Syrian Democratic Council SDC from the committee formed to draft the Syrian constitution.

Thousands of people from the north and east of Syria stand in front of a US-led coalition base to protest against the exclusion of representatives from the north and east of Syria in the constitutional committee set up on September 23 to draft a new constitution for Syria.

Thousands of people marched a few hundred meters to the front of the coalition base in the village of Kharab Ashk, south of Kobani city, where they began to protest moments ago.

The vigil bears the slogan "the constitution we do not participate in, we will not abide by", thousands of people from the region, including Arab, Kurdish, Armenian, Turkmen and other components of the region, they came from the cities of Manbij, al-Tabqa, al-Raqqa, Deri-ez-Zor countryside, Tel-Abyed and Kobani.

The vigil is still continued, and representatives of the Autonomous Administration, the Syrian Democratic Council, the Future Syria Party, and clans' notables are supposed to deliver their speeches.

A delegation representing the protesters is also preparing to enter the coalition base to hand over the officials a message expressing the position of the people of the region rejecting the formation of the constitutional committee without the participation of representatives from the regions of northern and eastern Syria.

This comes against the backdrop of the announcement of the formation of a committee to draft a constitution for Syria on September 23, which did not participate representatives of the Autonomous Administration and Syrian Democratic Council, where they were not invited to participate.
