Iraqi Forces repelled IS' attack in al-Hawija

The Iraqi Forces have repulsed an IS mercenaries' attack on the village of al-Danadish in al-Hawija province, southwest of Kirkuk, and that resulted in wounding two soldiers.

A security source told al-Sumaria News that the Iraqi forces repelled an attack launched by IS' mercenaries on the village of al-Danadish in Hawija province south-west of Kirkuk, and noted the injury of two military fighters.

In addition, Baghdad Operations Command announced the killing of the mercenary Sabah Nuri Abbas, the administrative and military officer in what was called the state of north Baghdad in the area of Ibn Sina in al-Tarmiyah.

IS' mercenaries have occasionally launched attacks against security forces, popular crowd and civilians in some areas freed from their control at a time when the joint Iraqi forces are continuing their operations against IS and chasing the remnants.
