Leyla Guven, her comrades' resistance is good model to be followed

A number of politicians in Girkê Legê district said that the isolation imposed on the Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Ocalan is an isolation imposed on the ideas that call for freedom, democracy and the peoples' fraternity.

An intensive isolation has been imposed on the Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Ocalan by the Turkish occupation in Imrali prison in conjunction with the continuation with the anti-isolation activities, including the activity of hunger strike which was initiated by the MP Leyla Guven.

The administrator of the General Council of the Democratic Union Party Abdul Hadi Ahmed said that the plot against the Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Ocalan is still going on till now.

Ahmed added, "The isolation imposed on the leader is an ongoing part of the plot that has been planned since 1998, and so far, the international conspiracy against the leader Abdullah Ocalan continues, and the plot has escalated since the beginning of Rojava Revolution to prevent the leader from connecting with his people."

Ahmed pointed out that the month of March is the month of struggle for the Kurdish people and the peoples of the region, and called for escalating the struggle and organizing various events; marches and demonstrations demanding to break the isolation imposed on Ocalan.

A member of Martyrs Families' Council in Girkê Legê district Deham Amuka also talked about the isolation imposed on Ocalan, and the MP Leyla Guven's resistance.

Amuka said that the isolation imposed on the Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Ocalan is a flagrant violation of the rights of all oppressed peoples, and added, "The plot did not only target the leader's person, but targeted all the people in the Middle East in the person of the leader Abdullah Ocalan. The isolation imposed on the Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Ocalan is the isolation imposed on the ideas of freedom, democracy and fraternity of peoples."

Deham Amuka also called for the escalation of the struggle to break the isolation imposed on Ocalan, and saluted Leyla Guven and her comrades' resistance which is considered a good model to be followed in all anti-isolation activities."
