SDF saved 4 children from death

IS' mercenaries had planted mines haphazardly in order to obstacle SDF's progress during the "battle to defeat terrorism" to liberate the geography of north and east of Syria from IS.

During the combing and demining operations in the area, the Special Forces found three children from IS' families who were wounded with various wounds for the forces to carry out their humanitarian role in order to save them, and they took them to al-Layith hospital in al-Basira village in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor.

24 hours have passed on the injury of the three children, among them an Iraqi girl who is at 5, and she was severely injured by a shrapnel from the back, a baby girl with minor injuries and a child of the same family who was 8 years old, and he suffered from several bruises and his leg was broken.

In the area, another child of French origin and at 2 years was found wounded with an explosive bullet in his right hand, severe bruises in the chest, and fragmentation in the bones of the left hand. More than two days have passed on the injury, and doctors at the hospital have made a surgical operation took 3 hours, restoring the bones and connecting the nerves and motor tendons.

The director of al-Layith Hospital Abdul Rahman al-Ali said, "The children were brought late at night in a critical condition as a result of their injuries, and immediately we took the necessary action, and the condition of the children has been stable after taking the necessary procedures by the medical staff in the hospital."
