Al-Shadadi safe, markets considerably prosperous

Al-Shadadi district's markets have considerably prospered due to spreading safety and stability 3 years since liberated, the municipality granted licenses to residents to open new shops.

During IS domination, the people had suffered a lot, but after liberating the city by sacrifices of SDF in 11 Feb, 2016, the city witnessed the people’s return to their homes increasingly, which was used as headquarters and prisons to IS.

The district suffered from lack of services where infrastructure was completely destroyed, as well as the massive destruction caused by IS in civilians' property, which turned them into the headquarters and closed others under the pretext of violating the Islamic religion.

Al-Shadadi district's markets have witnessed an intensive turnout by the people and in particular, there is heavy construction movement to build new shops and the people returned to practice their jobs, which were prevented during IS domination.

What promoted the market prosperity in al-Shadadi is the municipality that granted the licenses for buildings and shops in the market.

The citizen Moayad Hussein, he is from al-Shadadi district, pointed out "By virtue of the Syrian Democratic Forces, we were liberated from IS clutches and the safety and stability were retrieved, and the district's markets prospered.
