Afrin people: They aim at eliminating Ocalan’s thought, we will prevent this

The people of Afrin have pointed that Turkish state wants to eliminate all the ideas and projects which have been published by Abdullah Ocalan in the Middle East, stressing the Kurdish people's resistance will prevent that by struggle of Leyla Guven and her comrades who are on hunger strike.

Hawar news agency (ANHA) surveyed opinions of Afrin canton's people, who are living in al-Shahba canton, after occupying their territory and being forced to displace from their homes.

Walid Shiekho: one of the purposes of the international plot against all the Kurdish people, in particular in the person of leader Ocalan, is to eliminate the principles that the leader spread in the society, that is, the co-existence among all the components and sects, and equality between men and women, but the philosophy that we have taken from our leader will not end with conspiracies on our people as a philosophy inherited by generations, resistance of the people will not allow this, and hard proof is Leyla Guven's resistance and her comrades.

The co-chair of Kurdistan Society Conference and the parliamentarian of Democratic People's Party Leyla Guven, as well as the detainee Nasser Yagaz, and hundreds of other detainees continue to go on hunger strike, demanding an end to the isolation of Ocalan.

Berivan Sido: The Turkish state, headed by Recep Tayyip Erdogan, is pressuring with all methods on Ocalan, not allowing lawyers to meet with their client, aiming to keep him away from the people. "We will organize our activities and take part in demonstrations against isolation, and follow the example of Leyla Guven, who is manifesting great resistance."
