Al-Shamr clan held condolence sitting for Yazidis' Amir death

The Yazidi religion's Amir in Kurdistan and the world, the Amir Tahseen Ali Beik died on Monday, January 28th, 2019 in a hospital in the German city, Hanover at the age of 86 after a long struggle with the disease.

To embody the co-existence relations between the components, religions and cultures, the joint ruler of al-Jazeera region and the sheikh of al-Shamr Arab clan Hemeidi Dehham al-Hadi held a condolence sitting on the death of the Amir Tahseen Beik at his residence in Tel Alo village in Tel Koçer district of Qamişlo canton.

Dozens of notables and people of north Syria areas, the Yazidi dignitaries, the Arab and Kurdish clans elders, representatives of the Syriacs, Yazidi delegations from Şengal, the delegation of Freedom and Democracy Party in Şengal, representatives of the Autonomous Administration in Izidkhan, Yazidi delegations that came from Duhok city in Başûr Kurdistan in addition to a number of representative delegations of the Autonomous Administration in north and east Syria and representatives of the political parties flocked towards the condolence sitting.

The delegation was received by al-Shamr clan's sheikh Hemeidi Dehham al-Hadi and representatives of the Yazidis, Syriacs and Kurds. The guests from Şengal, Başûr Kurdistan and delegations in al-Jazeera region were welcomed by the member of the Syriac Union Council Elias Yohanen.

The sheikh Hemeidi Dehham al-Hadi then delivered a speech saying, "We feel sad and merry at once; sad for the death of the Yazidis' Amir Tahseen Beik and merry for the spectra present here; Yazidis, Syriacs and Arabs."

Dehham continued, "This gathering is a historical duty because there is no future without history. We are restoring a proud history, but many shocks caused by the circumstances and the situation of rupture and homelessness witnessed in the region. We hope that this gathering will be a good nucleus for all the peoples of the region.

The co-chair of the Autonomous Administration Council in Şengal Hassen Hajji talked and said, "On behalf of Şengal people, the Autonomous Administration and its institutions, we thank all the attendees, and we consider the death of the Amir a loss for all components at the regional and international levels."

In addition to speeches delivered by the Syrians, al-Jabbour Arab clan offered condolences for the death of the Amir Tahseen Beik, and references to the peoples' fraternity among the components of the region.

Furthermore, the mourners continued to flock towards the condolence meeting until the evening.
