Turkish expansion dream is over in IS last pocket-2

1 January, 2015, the units announced the entire liberation of Kobani from IS, which was a turning point in the course of the war in Syria and Iraq against terrorism, especially after the loss of vast areas of the two countries in favor of IS.

70% of the city's was destroyed as a result of the battles, and 30% was destroyed completely, while 40% was partly destroyed.

IS retreated amid rumors

After losing 6,000 of its fighters and the injury of thousands else, IS mercenaries in Kobani were enforced to flee towards near areas under their control, they had lost about 350 villages in weeks.

IS reported in its famous "Amaq" agency that they were enforced to retreat after leaving the city as rubble for its people, which provoked a wave of irony for IS supporters, expressing their discontent with the plan to attack Kobani and the loss of thousands of mercenaries in that city.

International welcoming of (YPG, YPJ)

the international welcoming of (YPG, YPJ) increased, after the confront of IS attack in north Syria, which was a real danger threatening the world countries, the West in particular, in conjunction with the tread, bombing and stabbing operations adopted by ISIS in many European cities.  

On 10 November, 2015, French President Francois Hollande met at the Elysee Palace in Paris, the leader of the Women Protection Units, Nisrin Abdullah, and the co-chair of the Democratic Union Party (PYD), Asia Abdullah, to discuss ways to eliminate IS. As France is considered one of the most effective countries within the International Coalition to eliminate ISI in Syria and Iraq.

On the other hand, representatives of the Democratic Autonomous Administration in north Syria met in a number of sessions of the European Parliament to discuss the developments on the Syrian arena and strengthen the relations between the administration and the European Union countries and explain what Turkey and its mercenaries in Syria have suffered from destruction, and displacement.

The alliance of components and war against IS resulted in SDF formation

After the liberation of Kobani, the forces headed towards Girê Spî and liberated it 14 June on 2015, and to break the suffocating siege of Kobani imposed by IS and before it al-Nusra and lasted for three years. A few weeks later, YPG released a statement on 27 July at 13:00, in which the liberation of Serin town south of Kobani was announced.

On 10 October, 2015, al-Jazeera canton declared the formation of the Syrian Democratic Forces under which Syriac, Armenian, Arab, Assyrian, and Kurdish forces are comprised. It includes more than 20 military factions, most notably the brigades of Shams al-Shamal, Thuwar al-Raqqa brigade, the Syriac Military Council, the Kurdish Front, al-Hasakah Martyrs Brigade, Women Protection Units, People Protection Units, in a second step towards the liberation of all northern regions of Syria after the first step through which Kobani was liberated under the banner of "Operation Room of the Euphrates Volcano".

Syrian and Iraqi armies as SDF are reclaiming a number of cities from IS

After heavy losses in north Syria and the loss of Manbij city, Daesh’s most important strongholds in the country and the supply line between its areas of control and Turkey's main support, following a military campaign led by the Syrian Democratic Forces in summer of 2016, the Syrian and Iraqi armies began to mobilize their forces near the areas controlled by IS.

The Syrian regime began a massive military operation targeting sites and fortifications in the eastern countryside of Aleppo and took control of hundreds of villages within weeks, coinciding with the start of the Iraqi forces and the Popular Crowd of a liberation operation of Mosul, the largest city seized by IS at the beginning of 2014, so IS lost its terrified name in the world slowly.

From Kobani to al-Raqqa to destroy the fake Islamic capital

In 5 November, 2016, SDF has declared officially the liberation campaign in al-Raqqa and its countryside against ISIS, under the name "The Euphrates Wrath campaign."

The Syrian Democratic Forces had liberated al-Tabqa city and its dam which considered the greatest in Syria, and al-Tabqa's military airport, the towns of al-Karama, al-Mansoura, al-Safsafa, and dozens of villages and towns which formed a cordon on al-Raqqa city from its four sides.

Weeks after besieging the mercenaries in neighborhoods of the city, a street fight has begun.

IS was unable to withstand in front of the aircrafts of International Coalition, and the advance of SDF, then the liberation of the city from ISIS was announced in the end of October.

Seizing IS in its last pocket

With the end of 2018, thousands of the mercenaries were besieged in the towns east of Syria on the border line with Iraq, SDF liberated dozens of thousands of civilians in these areas, while it has also eliminated of thousands of the mercenaries most were foreign.  

This came in conjunction with the shelling operations of Turkey which reached the areas of north Syria, with the aim of giving a moral push for IS in their fatal war in its last pocket, dozens of agencies, and secret documents documented the relationship between the Turkish intelligence and ISIS in a plan to control areas in Syria and Iraq, most of which failed, except for the comic play between IS and the Turkish army in Jarablus and al-Bab, as IS is handed over the north of Aleppo to Turkey without any battles and losses.

Turkey is playing its role in Syria, luring the opposition to weaken and hand them over to the Syrian regime, on the basis to eliminate the democratic project together in north Syria, which Afrin considered one of its series, where Turkey is threatening to launch an imminent military operation on north and east Syria.
