Sheikhs of al-Raqqa clans: Safe zone must be under international auspices

The threats of the Turkish occupation state to launch attacks on areas in northern and eastern Syria, as well as the establishment of a "safe zone" in the north and east of Syria escalate. In this regard, the sheikhs of al-Raqqa pointed out that Turkey is an occupying country and aims to occupy the areas of Syria, and they pointed out that the safe zone must be under international sponsorship.

Al-Ja'abat clan's sheikh Talal Hilal al-Sibat said, "A person like Erdogan is not entitled to talk about a safe zone in the north and east of Syria because he is the only one who represents the danger on our liberated safe areas."

He added, "The Turkish state has a black past full of murder and destruction, and a safe zone by a person like Erdogan, the murderer of children, women and the elderly is unacceptable in any way."

He added, "Turkey and the whole world conspired against the Syrian people who have become victims of the systematic murder of the Turkish state and the Islamic groups supported by Turkey."

The sheikh of al-Sabkha clan Mohammed Turki al-Sewaan said, "We will not forget the Turkish violations in Afrin, Azaz, Idlib and all the areas occupied by Turkey, and the evidence of the heinous crimes committed by the Turkish occupation in Afrin is the demographic change that displaced the people of Afrin from their homes."

He added, "The Turkish regime is a thief for the Syrian goods, and what Erdogan stole from the goods of the Syrian territory during the control of the mercenaries were not enough for him."

He concluded, "We in the north of Syria live safely under the shadow of the presence of our SDF, pointing out that SDF are the only forces that protected the people in the north and east of Syrian."
