Global Coalition: no losses to our forces in al-Shadadi bombing

The Global Coalition to Fighting ISIS assured that the bombing that took place in al-Shadadi district did not result in any human losses.

OIR spokesperson related to the Global Coalition assured in a tweet that their forces were not harmed during the bombing that targeted a convoy of the Global Coalition at the Internal Security Forces’ checkpoint at the Bridge 47 in al-Shadidi district.

The statement included “We confirm a combined U.S and Syrian partners force was involved in apparent VBIED Today in Syria. There is no U.S casualties. We will continue to review the situation and provide updates as appropriate.”

It is worth mentioning that a booby-trapped vehicle targeted this morning a checkpoint of Internal Security Forces near Bridge 47, as the vehicle approached, it was suspected and would not stop, so the attack was repelled by placing an armored vehicle of the Global Coalition in its way, while the driver of the armored vehicle jumped out before the blasting took place, two members of the Internal Security Forces, as well as the driver were slightly injured.
