600 civilians liberated in Deir ez-Zor through safe crossing

The Syrian Democratic Forces continue their battles against ISIS in Hajin area and its villages, where a large number of civilians have been able to reach liberated areas by SDF since the beginning of the campaign.

On Monday, nearly 600 civilians from areas under the control of ISIS have arrived to the liberated areas of SDF by safe crossing.

SDF then secured vehicles to transport the displaced people to safe places to provide shelter for them.

Muhammad Sulaiman Othman, a member of the local councils of Deir ez-Zor Civil Council said that after the arrival of the displaced people to the liberated areas of SDF" We sent several cars to bring them to a safe place, their number reached to about 600 civilians from al-Sousa, al-Shafa, and Bagouz Fokani.

Othman pointed out that the Civil Council has distributed the necessities to the displaced people, "especially winter supplies, such as blankets, we will send them to al-Hol camp to provide more assistance."

On the other hand, the Special Teams of the Syrian Democratic Forces have saved the civilians located in areas such as al-Shafa, al-Sousa, and Abo Hasan village where strong battles are taking place.

The displaced people pointed out that IS mercenaries were using a large number of people as human shields.

It is worth mentioning that Syrian Democratic Forces have so far liberated thousands of civilians. According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, it documented the liberation of 2200 people, where 700 civilians had been liberated last Tuesday and 600 displaced persons on Sunday evening.
