Democratic Peace Party: Resistance continue as long as Turkish soldier exist on Afrin

20 January 2018 is the annual anniversary of occupying Afrin by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries, the Kurdistan Democratic Peace Party stressed the continuation of the resistance against the fascist Turkish during a statement.

The text of the statement:

Freedom, coexistence, cooperation, brotherhood, democracy, peace, ethics, human rights, security, words that cannot make their way to the ears of tyrants and chauvinists who build their nests on the pillars of seditions, discrimination, corruption, tyranny, terrorism, murder, denial and destruction. They are words confront wars in various forms by tyrants who try to prevent people from inhaling the oxygen of freedom and seeing the light.

Erdogan is the most notable tyrant who claimed democracy in the past years, he is the real supporter to terrorism who has exploited all the bitter conditions that have passed and are still passing in Syria in favor of his objectives, interests and occupation intentions without regard to any principle, law or human right.    

At the beginning of the Syrian revolution, his intention has revealed, the revolution has turned from a peaceful protest movement to an armed movement, soon the dictator supported the terrorism with all its factions and organizations which aimed to thwart the democratic project in which the Kurds could achieve some of their rights.

This support has turned over the days to appear in public as the ugliest picture possible, the occupation of "Afrin" has been a clear document revealing his occupational project in Syria, and showed the extent of his hatred and hostility to any democratic project or peaceful coexistence between the various components.

On 20 January 2018, the Turkish barbaric forces and their affiliates from the Syrian factions attacked Afrin region, using the modern weapons, without distinction between soldiers and civilian. After heroic resistance from our defending forces for 58 days, Turkey occupied Afrin, to start the violations and crimes against their people and property, including murder, rape, displacement, kidnapping, looting, extortion, demographic change, theft of monuments, forcing Yazidis to convert to Islam, imposing Turkish language in some areas, turning houses into military headquarters, torture prisons, and other crimes.

The international silence about these crimes has motivated the occupying forces to continue in the criminal series without any deterrent, the thing which make the influential countries as partner in these crimes.

Resistance will continue as long as there is one Turkish soldier on the blessed land of Afrin, the operations carried out by our forces every day did not allow the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries to enjoy one calm day, they will be end sooner or later, Afrin is on the way to regain its Kurdish ID.

The international silence has pushed Erdogan to launch more threats to other areas. We also do not rule out that Turkey has a hand in the recent bombing that targeted a restaurant in the city of Manbij, which killed 19 people, including soldiers from the forces of the International Coalition, the thing which means that the danger of the Turkish state has extended, it must be deterred before it is too late.
