Autonomous Administration calls to revolt against occupation

The Executive Council of the Autonomous Administration in north and east Syria has revealed a statement, on the first annual anniversary of the Turkish occupation attacks on Afrin canton in 20 January 2018 

The text of the statement:

Today is coincides the first annual anniversary of the Turkish occupation which invades Afrin region and targeted the safe people and work to occupy the region and turned it into a hotbed of terrorism  

Thousands of Turkish occupation and its mercenaries were being intensified on Afrin border, shelling the city using all kinds of sophisticated weapons trying to foiled democratic project and strike the civilians, security and stability which were spread in the region 

Turkish occupation has intended to execute the policies of displacement, Turkification, and demographic change in Afrin region, where dozens of thousands have been displaced as a result of its repressive policies and the shedding of its mercenaries on unarmed civilians

This came after heroic resistance shown by our people and forces for two consecutive months of battles with disparate military forces, where a huge military arsenal had been used by the aggressors which could open fronts against superpowers armies  

More than a thousand of military and civilian martyrs were victims of this aggression which watered the olive trees rotted in the soil of Afrin

Turkey wants to continue its expanded occupation project, it has now threated the safe north and east areas of Syria

We call the Civil and Autonomous Administration in all its council to revolt against the Turkish occupation and its threats against our cities and villages

Revolt in bloom with the revolutionary youth, and with the spirit of free women

Revolt to immortalize Avista Barin and Elan's souls and the martyrs who walked in their paths.
