SDF: We support buffer zone with international guarantees, protecting components of region
The General Command of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) expressed its support for the formation of the buffer zone which is being circulated around north and north-east Syria to ensure the protection of all ethnicities and ethnic races from the dangers of genocide with international guarantees that ensure the protection of the components and the prevention of external interference.

The General Command of the Syrian Democratic Forces issued a statement regarding the buffer zone which is being circulated about the north and east of Syria.
The statement noted, "Our forces, the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), have made great efforts in the framework of the task of fighting terrorism which is represented by IS terrorist organization and other radical terrorist organizations, and we have achieved great successes in this difficult task by working and coordinating with our partners in the US-led International Coalition.
In the meantime, the task of protecting all components of the north and north-east of Syria has always been one of our main tasks. We are almost certain that our region is the only region in which all the components of Syria coexist, and we do not pose any external threat to any of the neighboring countries which we look forward to and hope to reach understandings and solutions with them to ensure the continuation of stability and security in the border areas with them.
We, in the ranks of SDF, will provide all the necessary support and assistance to form the buffer zone that is being circulated around north and north-east Syria, ensuring the protection of all ethnic groups from the dangers of genocide and the consolidation of stability in addition to ensuring the prevention of external interference.
