Bernard Gul, an MP from the conservative Swiss Democratic Party, said that olive groves in Afrin were looted by the Turkish occupation forces and the factions supporting them, and the stolen oil was being sold to Spain.

During a session of the Swiss parliament, the Swiss parliamentarian inquired about the measures taken to investigate the money being spent by the occupation and its affiliated gangs on the sale of the looted olive oil from Afrin.

Afrin has witnessed daily looting of olive groves and all other civilian property since its occupation in March 2018.
