Moscow hosts new tour of Astana meetings early next year

The deputy of the Russian Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov announced on Friday that the meeting of the countries interfered into the Syrian affair that call themselves "the guarantors" of Astana process about Syria will be held in Russia in the beginning of the next year.

Mikhail Bogdanov noted, "It is our turn to host the summit of the guaranteeing countries, I mean the presidents of Turkey, Iran and Russia, which is suggested to be held in the first week of next year, and this depends on the presidents' agenda according to what Sputnik agency quoted.

On November 29, the Kazakh capital Astana hosted the 11th round of the Astana talks about Syria with the participation of the interfered countries in the Syrian affairs (Russia, Turkey and Iran).

To date, 11 rounds of Astana meetings have been held between Russia, Turkey and Iran which are effectively involved in the Syrian crisis without finding a solution to the crisis, except for holding agreements between these parties to protect their interests at the expense of the interests of the Syrian people.

Astana agreements restored the regime's control over the Syrian areas that had come out of its control, maintained Jabhet al-Nusra, made a demographic change in various Syrian regions and legitimized the Turkish occupation of the Syrian lands.
