Turkey enforced hundreds of thousands of indigenous Afrin residents. This Turkish policy west of the Euphrates River is an expansion of its policies practiced since 1925, in an attempt to displace the Kurds from the west of the Euphrates River starting from Bakur, "northern Kurdistan."

Turkey committed in the twentieth century horrific massacres against the Kurds in North Kurdistan, destroyed and burned thousands of villages Turkey, so the Kurds were enforced to displace to countries abroad, as there are thousands of Kurds in European countries after being displaced by the Turkish state.

Turkey, is now occupying part of Rojava, "Afrin canton". The Turkish occupation is following a policy of displacement against the Kurds. Turkish efforts now revolve around occupying the city of Manbij in north Syria which is in the Turkish scheme that we are talking about.

According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, 350 thousand Kurds have been forced out of Afrin since the 18th of November. Turkey is following this policy at a very high rate.

Afrin was 90% Kurdish, but now 5%, due to the settling of families from the countryside of Damascus, Homs and Daraa in Afrin.

According to sources from Afrin, three quarters of the city of Afrin is inhabited by the families of mercenaries. Qastal Jendo is empty of the Yazidi people. The occupation did not stop the displacement of the Yezidis and even built a mosque in the village. In the village of Basufan, there were still a few Yezidi families, where dozens of radical Arab families had settled in the Yazidis’ homes.

Even the landmarks of Afrin have changed. The US Senator Thomas Garrett at a Congress meeting, said "The name Avrin Hospital, written in both Arabic and Kurdish, is now written in Turkish,". In fact, the destruction of the statue of Kawa the Blacksmith, which is a symbol of the resistance of the Kurds, clearly demonstrated that there is a clear policy of genocide.

Also, the Turkish occupation continues to kidnap civilians arbitrarily. There are thousands of Kurds who have been kidnapped and nothing has been known so far, and the citizen Fawza Rasho, who stayed in Afrin for 8 months, confirmed this.

According to the statistics obtained from the source, 40 civilians were kidnapped from Afrin in the last week, some of them from the village of Kurzêlê adjacent to the city of Afrin

According to a source from Afrin, the Turkish occupation army has gathered its mercenary gangs in Afrin.

The aim of these gangs is to attack, kidnap, and bother the Kurds to the extent of displacing them out of Afrin. This shortens all the Turkish goals to annihilate the Kurds.
