Citizen met Ocalan “leader stressed ‘struggle must be escalated in Rojava’”

Since 1989, Ocalan stressed the necessity to escalate the struggle in Rojava, because that will have a positive impact on the rest of Kurdistan parts, he stressed the necessity to strengthen their will and organization so that they can defeat those who try to harm them.

Abd al-Karim Abas who is at 61 years old, who is from the village of Sihah belonging to Tirbespiyê district in al-Jazeera region, he had learnt about the Kurdistan Freedom Movement in 1982, and fought secretly with the movement in the organizational field at the beginning of its establishment, and now he is working as Co-chair of the commune of martyr Murad in Sihah village to organize and serve the people.

Abdul Karim Khalaf, accompanied by 15 people from the people of Rojava, met the leader of the Kurdish people, Abdullah Ocalan, in 1989 at the Martyr Masoum Qarqmaz Academy in Lebanon.

Abdul Karim and his colleagues engaged in 20-minute meeting with Ocalan. Khalaf explains that these minutes were crucial for them, strengthened their personality and increased their will and bravery.

We, as a people, have been exposed to injustices throughout history, and we have also wronged ourselves, so we must at this stage re-establish ourselves and believe in our will, we have established our military strength to stand up to the injustice and enemies of the Kurdish people."

The struggle in Rojava must be escalated

He explained that Ocalan pointed out that the enemies of the Kurdish people have divided Kurdistan into four parts.

"He pointed out that Ocalan focused on the necessity to organize the Kurdish people themselves, and said quoting Ocalan," Your will must be strong and organize yourselves and your opponents will not be able to defeat you."

Abdul-Kareem Khalaf said that during his meeting at the Masoum Qarqmaz Academy in Lebanon, Ocalan touched upon the people of Rojava and said: "Rojava is smallest part of divided Kurdistan, its people have brilliant minds, warm and pure hearts, I saw their struggle, strength and will very closely."

He drew attention to the fact that Ocalan explained in 1989 during their meeting with Ocalan, the necessity to escalate the struggle in Rojava, because it would affect positively on the rest of Kurdistan parts.
