The General Council of Autonomous Administration held an emergency meeting to discuss the latest developments in the region. The participants put forward a plan for action during the coming period. The meeting, which was held at Autonomous Administration headquarters in Ain Issa district, attended the Joint Presidency of the General Council, deputies and members of the council.

The participants discussed the outcomes of the recent US decision to withdraw US forces from Syria and coincide with the Turkish threats to the region.

The participants pointed out that the components of the people in the north and east of Syria, did not rely on the external parties to protect them since the war declared on IS in Serê Kaniyê and Kobanî, where they resisted IS and won victories.

Asserting that the American presence in the region came to achieve its interests, but it did not care about the people's freedom and democracy.

The participants presented several options that could be worked out during the coming period: the popular resistance of the enemy, which has the components of the people of the region by building the self-strength capable of repelling all the ambitions and plans that hostile countries are trying to implement on Syrian soil.

As well as work to unify the views of all the forces and parties on the Syrian geography, through the Syrian-Syrian dialogue and work with the world powers on the Syrian territory and the forces of the international coalition.

They stressed that any negotiations in the coming period with the other parties do not mean giving up the rights of the people to freedom and democracy and to live a free and dignified life within an Autonomous Administration  of equal rights and duties.

Members of the Council noted during the discussion that there are fundamental principles cannot be waived under any circumstances as a unit of Syrian territory, and the solution that comes through the Syrian and Syrian dialogue .

The meeting agreed at the end of the meeting on the need to direct messages of Arab and regional countries, the Arab League and all the currents and political parties at home and abroad include denunciation and condemnation of the hostile threats to the region, talk about freedom and democracy experienced by the people of the region.

The deputies called for the Joint Presidency Council members to explain what is being circulated internally and externally to the people to be familiar with what is happening at home and abroad .
