Sit-in in Kobanî continues for 6th day in a row

The sit-in continues in Kobanî canton condemning the Turkish threats that target the areas of northern and eastern Syria on its sixth day, teachers of the canton participated in the events on Saturday.

The sit-in, organized by the residents of Kobanî canton, took place under a tent erected in the village of Qera Mugh, east of Kobanî city entered its the sixth day under which the participants denounced the Turkish threats against the north and east of Syria and emphasized on steadfastness in the face of any force would try to occupy the region.

The event comes in the context of several similar events held in different parts of northern and eastern Syria, through the sit-in in Girê Spî city and Silok district in the addition of a sit-in in Serê Kanîyê.

Dozens of teachers from Kobanî canton are taking part in the sit-in tent in the village of Qera Mugh erected near the Turkish border.

The activities of the sit-in continue, as they are scheduled to continue for days according to the preparatory committee which oversees the events.
