After the American statements to withdraw its forces quickly from Syria, the Syrian Democratic Council issued a statement to the public opinion, indicating that they will work with all efforts for the political and diplomatic move at all levels to achieve security and safety and find a political solution that achieves the Syrian people's desired aspirations.

The statement included,

"The information obtained stated that the US decision to withdraw all its forces quickly from Syria comes in conditions of unsafe and unstable situations. The Turkish threats will start a new crisis seeking to achieve old ambitions on the Syrian territory.

We in the Syrian Democratic Council warn about the danger of taking such step within this atmosphere that would complicate the Syrian crisis further and open the way to more bloody conflicts and battles. It will give the opportunity to IS to regain its strength and spread again, and threaten the international peace and security. As our military forces, the Syrian Democratic Forces, are a key partner of the International Coalition against Daesh, we stress that any expected withdrawal by the US troops must not negatively affect the mission of the partners in the International Coalition to accomplish and achieve the goal of eliminating Daesh and terrorism, ensure the necessary protection for the components of the region, achieve security and stability and to find a comprehensive and credible political solution. Furthermore, this withdrawal must not leave a gap, chaos or external interventions that would lead the region towards disaster and more tragedies.

We in the Syrian Democratic Council and as a Syrian national political party always seek for peaceful national solutions. We assure our people the obligation to defend their rights and their gains. Our military forces continue to defend the security and stability of the region from any internal or external threat basing on the struggles of our daughters and our sons and on the lawful defense right of the peoples. Since the very beginning, we have believed in the unity of the Syrian territory and adopted it as a choice. We in the Syrian Democratic Council will work with all our efforts to move politically, diplomatically and at all levels to achieve security and stability and to find a peaceful political solution that would achieve the desired aspirations of the Syrian people."
