To block the threats launched by President Erdogan, which included an attack on the regions of northern and eastern Syria, and to discuss their repercussions and to find a common formula to block the way, and to unite the position of political parties, and unite the visions and ways to address these threats, Today, 9 Kurdish parties held a meeting at the headquarters of the Democratic Progressive Party in Syria.

After a long discussion between the parties that held a meeting in the Hall of Noureddine Zaza in the city of Qamishlo, at the invitation of the Democratic Progressive Party in Syria. They  Issued a statement to the public opinion, the meeting stressed that these threats pose a threat to the Kurdish presence, and will be disastrous consequences for the Kurdish people if Turkey carried out threats.

The participants explained that Afrin's experience is in front of everyone because of flagrant violations of human rights, including rape, looting and pillaging of Kurdish citizens' property, not to mention the systematic demographic change practiced by Turkey and its armed factions.

The participants agreed to form a delegation to communicate with the absent parties to urge them to attend future meetings. The participants stressed that these threats complicate the complex Syrian crisis and delay the path of the political solution to the crisis.

The participants appealed to the international community, the United Nations, human rights organizations and states involved in the Syrian crisis to bear their responsibilities to deter Turkey from carrying out its aggressive threats.

The nine parties attending the meeting were : the Kurdish National Alliance in Syria, the Kurdistan Liberal Union, the Kurdish Left Party in Syria, the Kurdistan Communist Party, the Kurdistan Democratic Peace Party, Azadi Kurdish Free Party, the Kurdistan National Party, the Secretariat Azadi Party of Kurdistan, Democratic Progressive Kurdish Party in Syria.
