SDF thwarted attack with booby –trapped car, seized another car in Hajin

The Syrian Democratic Forces' fighters(SDF) in Hajin axis were able to thwart IS mercenaries attack by launching a car bomb and killing the suicide bomber inside. The fighters, while combing Hajin town, seized another booby-trapped car that was set to explode.

The battle to defeat terrorism launched by SDF continues to eliminate mercenaries in their last stronghold of Deir ez-Zor amid continuing strong clashes and advancing at the expense of eliminating IS mercenaries.

In the evening hours, IS mercenary tried to attack by booby-trapped car at the points of concentration of SDF in Hajin axis, but the fighters of SDF thwarted the attack and managed to kill the suicide bomber who was riding in the car and seized it before reaching its goals.

On the other hand, during the combing operations carried out by the Syrian Democratic Forces in the liberated areas of Hajin town, the fighters seized a booby-trapped car that the mercenaries had prepared to detonate with tons of explosives.

It is noteworthy that the fighters of the Syrian Democratic forces have found yesterday night a warehouse of weapons containing dozens of mortar shells and weapons belonging to IS mercenaries.
