Turkish Military Aircraft launched an air strike on Mexmûr camp for displaced people last night. Four civilians were martyred and their names: Asiya Ali Mohammed, 73, and her daughter Naranj Farhan Qassem, 26, and her granddaughter Avin Kawa Mahmoud, and Aylam 23-year-old.

The residents of Mexmûr camp today buried the bodies of the four martyrs during a ceremony attended by hundreds of people.

The ceremony was held at the Culture and Art Center in Mexmûr. It started with holding a minute of silence followed by speeches on behalf of the martyrs' families, in which they stressed that the Turkish state will not succeed in undermining the will of the Kurdish people and also confirmed that the Turkish state does not hesitate to target civilians. The statements called on the parties concerned, in particular the Iraqi government, to express their position on these attacks.
