Erdogan's threats are result of Turkish policies' bankruptcy internally and externally

The Democratic Conservative Party and the Culture and Art Committee issued two separate statements to the public opinion, denouncing Erdogan's hostile statements towards northern and eastern Syria.

Democratic Conservative Party

In the statement of the Conservative Party, it was pointed out that the escalation of the Turkish threats comes in conjunction with the victories achieved in the fight against terrorism in its last strongholds of Deir ez-Zor and the interference in more Syrian north territories, noting that these statements threaten the security and stability that they witness.

It added, "As Syrians, we up to the responsibility to find the solution, and we consider that this intervention helps to prolong the Syrian crisis and is contrary to the international laws and conventions by interfering in the internal affairs of Syria."

In its statement, the Party called on the Syrian government to shoulder its legal responsibility to preserve the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Syria, and appealed to the international community to stand against these threats.

Culture and Art

The statement of the Culture and Art Committee was read in front of its center in al-Mufti neighborhood of al-Hasakah city by the administrative Ayman Shaker.

At the outset of the statement, the Committee denounced the threats of the barbaric threats of Erdogan against the north-east of Syria. These threats aim to undermine the democracy of peoples and to instigate strives among all the components of the democratic society. This is the result of the bankruptcy of the Turkish policy in the entire region and the Turkish interior as well.

The statement added, "Turkey also seeks to restore the Ottoman Sultanate to the entire region, underestimate our democratic project, destabilize the security and prolong the life of IS mercenaries in the region."
