Days of holiday are being considered as cultural awareness for children

The war which was launched by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries on Afrin canton has affected the children of Afrin who used to live in peace and safety. Children were forced to leave their homes and now living in al-Shahba. Institutions operating in al-Shahba canton , especially the Movement of Culture and Art Movement works to support children's psychology.

The people of Afrin are still resisting bravely in al-Shahba canton against challenges, the Movement of Culture and Art played a major role in restoring the spirit of art among the children of Afrin and opened the way for them by allocating two days a week to train them in the tents and houses on the fields of art  (dance, singing, Playing instruments, drawing) in al-Shahba 's canton districts .

The Movement Committees in the village of Umm al-Hosh and Ahras district ,116 children have divided according to their ages to receive their training on singing, dancing and drawing, during the Friday and Saturday, most of them attend school and therefore they organize their time accordingly

Hassan Nasser who is at 12-year-old, takes his place as part of the seven-member singing group in the center of Ahras district "It is our love for art that motivates us to learn our culture, that morality means culture and art, and therefore we must develop ourselves."

The supervisor of the Culture and Art Committee in the district of Ahras Sarah Mustafa: "when we forced to displace from Afrin canton the first thing was formation several committees of the movement of culture and art in al-Shahba canton's districts especially for children so as not to be affected by the conditions of forced exit from Afrin and linked with their culture more. "

The Committee of Culture and Art in the village of Umm al-Hosh three months ago, despite the lack of potential, where many numbers of students have reached to 66 members , new teams were formed by increaing their numbers. . Most members of Umm Hosh tend to draw. In addition to their technical knowledge, they teach Kurdish.

Zilan Prem, a member of the Sardam group in the village of Umm Hosh:"We take our training two hours a day and practice the songs and work to sort them out in the form of collective performance, and in the way we show our strong will sending a message to our enemies that whatever they tried to suppress us will take with us our culture and development and nothing prevents us from interest and development it."
