Thousands bid farewell HPG member Hozan Ali

"The enemy is trying to prevent the Kurdish people from reclaiming their stolen rights," said the father of the member of the Community Protection Forces, Hozan, who said during his son's funeral today in the city of Qamishlo that the people of northern Syria are ready to defend their land and gains and sacrifice themselves or it.

Thousands of people from Qamishlo canton bid today the member of the Community Protection Forces (HPG) who was martyred on the 4th of this month by an explosive device in his car near the Halabja Park in Qamishlo’s Corniche district.

The ceremony held at the Shrine of the Martyr Dalil Sarokhan began with a military parade by the members of the Community Protection Forces and the fighters of the People's Protection Units as the mourners stood a minute of silence.

Afterwards, a speech on behalf of Qamishlo Canton Council was delivered by member Issam Ibrahim, and another on behalf of the HPG by the leader Abdul Wahed Musa.

The two words offered condolences to the family of the martyr Hozan and wished them patience and solace.

The two words emphasized that with the outbreak of the revolution, the fighter Hozan took his place in the fronts of the front lines in many of the battles that took place in Rojava and northern Syria without hesitation or fear and sought to maintain security and stability through his work within Community Protection Forces.

In turn, the leader Musa vowed to continue the struggle and walk on the path of the martyr Hozan and achieve his goals in establishing security and stability in the cities and regions of northern and eastern Syria.

In a speech on behalf of the martyr's family, his father, Yusuf al-Ali, said: "The enemy is trying by all means to obliterate our identity and rights; therefore, we have to unite and join hands to face these attempts and to know that we are ready to testify in order to defend our land.

The document of the fighter Hozan Ali was read then and handed to his parents and his body was buried in the shrine of the Martyr dalil Sarokhan amid slogans that glorify the martyrs.
