German women delegation visits AA bodies’ HQ to see women’s experience

The delegation was received today in the Girê Spî’s Ain Issa district by the co-chair of the Executive Council Berivan Khaled, deputy co-chair Elizabeth Korea, and head of the Woman Body Jihan Khidro, co-chair of the Defense Body Jihan Sheikh Ahmad.

The delegation included many German women, which aim is to get to know the experience of women in the north and east Syria areas who effectively undertook their role in the society and all civil and military life domains.

The co-chair of the Executive Council Berivan Khaled explained the role of women in north and east Syria in managing the society and organizing themselves, as well as the rights and duties they enjoy.

Berivan noted that the co-chair system within the Autonomous Administration is considered a successful experience for equality between man and woman in administrating and leading the society.

During the discussions that took place between the attendees, the delegation assured that the woman in the Syrian north areas could organize herself as she had a pioneer experience in all life fields.

The delegation assured that the woman in north and east Syria is an example of the woman who could obtain her rights, and have become a model for all women in the world.

The German delegation met on Wednesday al-Raqqa Civil Council, and the civil institutions in al-Raqqa.
