YPG disclosed number of "Battle to Defeat Terrorism" martyrs' record

The Media Center of the People's Protection Units (YPG) issued a statement in which it commemorated 12 martyrs. The statement, published on the official website of the People's Protection Units, said:

"On November 24, 11 of our fighters were martyred in the battles of al-Jazeera Tempest Campaign. On December 2, one of our fighters was martyred in al- Hasaka canton as a result of a traffic accident.

As part of the final phase of al-Jazeera Tempest campaign, our forces continue to carry out operations. In order to stop the progress of our forces, IS mercenaries are constantly launching attacks on the points of concentration of our units, where mercenaries used the bad weather to launch their attacks. On  November 24, they attacked the points of concentration of our troops in the north and west of Hajin town and the result of clashes that lasted several hours between our forces and IS mercenaries, the attack was completely thwarted and the mercenaries were forced to flee after heavy casualties. In the course of the attacks, 11 of our fighters rose to the rank of martyrdom, who were performing their patriotic duty to protect the area. One of our fighters was martyred by an accident in al-Hasakah canton while performing his military duty.
