The discussions at the third session noted that Turkey now represents the national capitalist ideology and radical Islam and attacks every democratic project in the region.

The discussions focused on the need to confront legal organizations for the demographic change and ethnic cleansing practiced against the people of Afrin, describing what Turkey is doing as crimes against humanity. Stressing that Turkey has not observed any international law nor any humanitarian law in its wars, especially international humanitarian law, which prohibits the killing or targeting of civilians, especially women and children during war and conflict.

The discussions pointed out that one of the biggest crimes committed by Turkey against the minorities in Afrin is forcing the Yazidi people to convert to Islam and do Islamic prayer, as well as destroy their shrines and the sites of Alawites.

The discussions and interventions during the legal session pointed out that the Turkish occupation to Afrin is illegal. Therefore Turkey must be committed as a member state of the international institution to respect the international covenants and conventions and the international community must recognize that Turkey is an occupying country.

The closing session is scheduled to take place shortly, and one representative will attend each of the previous three sessions to discuss solutions and proposals and come up with a set of recommendations to address the effects of ethnic cleansing and demographic change in Afrin.
