Al-Karama bid farewell martyrs of battle to defeat terrorism, Internal Security Forces' member

The people of al-Karama area in the eastern countryside have bid farewell 7 martyred of the Syrian Democratic Forces who were martyred in the "battle to defeat terrorism" against IS in Deir ez-Zor, also the martyr Mahmoud al-Rajab, a member of the Internal Security Forces who had been martyred during performing his military duty.

Hundreds of mourners gathered in the al-Salama (Safety) Square in al-Karama town to receive the corpses of the martyrs from the Martyrs' Families Institution in al-Karama to march with a convoy of hundreds of cars decorated with pictures of martyrs towards the Martyr Sevdar Shrine.

When the mourners arrived at the shrine, the ceremony began with a minute of silence with a military parade performed by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF). Then, a number of words were delivered on behalf of the families of the martyrs, on behalf of the Internal Security Forces, and on behalf of the Syrian Democratic Forces. The words presented the condolences to the martyrs' families and asserted that the sacrifices of the martyrs have led to freedom and peace and to the building of a democratic society in north and east of Syria. The words also pledged to follow the path of martyrs until the liberation of the remaining villages of Deir ez-Zor and Syria from the occupiers and mercenaries.

And then, the documents of the 8 martyrs have been read and handed over to their families. The martyrs' names of SDF are Abdul Hay; the real name is Bashar al-Sheikh – Dehmat; the real name is Abdul Qader al-Katto – Talal; the real name is Abdul Aziz al-Issa – Qortai; the real name is Ammar al-Sheikh – Adham; the real name is Mohammed Jassem Al- Damen – Saif; the real name is Abdul Hadi al-Omar – Sedlan; the real name is Abdul Jabbar al-Sadlan and the member of the Internal Security Forces Abu Harran; the real name is Mahmoud al-Rajab.

Then, the mourners and the fighters raised the corpses of the martyrs on their shoulders to bury them in the Martyr Sevdar Shrine in al-Jadida town.
