Internal Transport reduces burden on al-Raqqa  residents

In cooperation between al-Raqqa Civil Council and the Internal Transport Committee of the people's municipality, 10 minibuses were provided to transport the residents within the neighborhoods of al-Raqqa city.

The city of al-Raqqa is the most affected city in the north-east of Syria, where it lacks many services, the most important of which is the Internal Transport, where the city's residents suffer from the exploitation of taxi drivers, especially as winter has come.

In order to limit the exploitation of public minibuses and to serve the residents, days ago, microbuses were gone out within the neighborhoods of al-Raqqa to alleviate the suffering of the residents in the city to move within the city.

The citizen Ahmed al-Jassem said, "We thank the people's municipality for launching buses within the city, and this work reduces the burden on the citizen and to ease the movement among neighborhoods, especially in winter."

The co-chair of the People's Municipality, Ahmed Ibrahim, said, "After securing the buses by the people's municipality and the Syrian Democratic Council, the buses were gone out to serve the residents."

Ibrahim added, "Today we see a smile on the faces of our residents after the launching of the buses, and we continue to provide services and facilities. Furthermore, we are working on putting umbrellas along the bus lines as private positions for the civilians."
